I.T. security is once again the subject of newspaper headlines. Recently The New York Times revealed that a credit card processing company suffered a security breach affecting up to 40 million customers as a result of having insufficient I.T. Safe Guards. While all these security issues are happening a recent survey from Henley Management College revealed that top managers are still ignoring this key issue. Their findings revealed that too many businesses still see security as an optional issue. Although many enterprises are reluctant to see I.T. security as a priority the fact is that if they take this stance then their security will remain compromised. Problems will not be obvious until after the event has happened. Without investing in security for your network now you could face problems in the future
